Strategic Planning
The three-year Business Planning project began in June 2005. Business Planning was set in motion to ensure coordination among SLARCs numerous projects, rationalize and streamline services provided by SLARC and oversee the development of a five-year business and action plan to strengthen SLARC's mandate, build its community, corporate and First Nations support and lead the entire organization toward sustainability.
The up-coming year will bring new partnerships, a solid plan of action and a marketing plan that reflects SLARC's mission, mandate and goals.
Funding from Business Planning will allow SLARC to increase awareness about key initiatives that reflect the community of Sioux Lookout as well as aid in the creation of SLARC as a sustainable, long-term organization.
